LESSON HORSES FOR SALE: If you don't see what you are looking for, give us a call. We have other horses for sale as well. (We are required to charge sales tax on horse sales. Fresno sales tax of 7.975% will be added to the sale price of all horses sold. Sales tax will increase to 8.975% on April 1, 2009. If you see a horse you like, call or email us now. You could save 1% before April 1 ) Below are some of the lesson horses used by the Fresno State Equestrian Team. All of these horses have been used for Equestrian Team Practice and/or Equestrian Team Shows All have been useful team horses. They are well trained and gentle. They are available for sale for different reasons: Some because better horses are coming into the program and we must make room for them, some because they are older and need a slower pace, and some because they are somewhat sore or tired of the routine of the heavy team practice schedule. Most of these horses still have useful days ahead, particularly in a slower paced environment with somewhat lighter work. All of these horses enjoy the daily care and attention they have received and will make good equine partners for some activity.
